Ms Kahoe provided video and photography services for an instructional guide/reference document that is used by educators across Maryland. Copies were distributed throughout the state and the document is available in an electronic format therefore; it is accessible on the web.
She provided professional, excellent services in all areas. The project involved taking photographs in a variety of school settings with young children. Ms. Kahoe was flexible and always approachable, congenial and businesslike. She was friendly and approachable to the children and school staff. She responded to the children’s questions and comments. She met the requirements of the proposal and delivered the product in a timely fashion. She was available to review the photographs and assisted me with selecting appropriate settings as we went from school to school.
She was especially comfortable in working in an early childhood educational context. She captured young children and classrooms, in natural environments without interrupting the instructional process. Her use of lighting, lenses and other equipment was strategically planned to minimally distract children and educators. Ms. Kahoe was flexible “on location” to accommodate school schedules, interruptions and changes.
The photographs were uploaded online so that suggestions could be made quickly and returned to our office. A very large variety of still pictures were provided so that we could select the preferred images.
The final product was professionally done and was used in our State documents. I highly recommend Ms. Janet Kahoe.

Our photo-shoot at Grandma's house with an 8 year old gymnast/drama-queen, a camera shy 10 year old who would rather be playing soccer and a rambunctious cairns terrier-border collie presented many challenges. Janet handled them with aplomb. She caught a variety of poses and expressions, giving us a wealth of options. She was more than generous with her time and arranged settings that fit the personalities of her subjects. Grandma and the kids' parents are very happy with the results. Janet recently provided the photography for our September 2017 wedding. Right from the start she made everyone feel at ease, which helped to get some fabulous candid as well as posed shots. We hired Janet Kahoe to photograph the opening of our brand new facility, the 16,000 square foot Veterinary Hospital, Eastern Animal Hospital. We had been building it for two years and were so proud of the new innovative building. Janet took wonderful pictures of the hospital, both inside the building and the exterior...she even showed up at 5:00 am, at the crack of dawn, to capture the building during sunrise. Her exterior photographs were excellent and she used the daylight to highlight different angles of the building. Her interior pictures were clear and crisp, helping to highlight all of the modern materials we used in our finishes, from woodgrain flooring, to stacked stone and shiny metals throughout the hospital. My favorites were how she captured our 1,000 gallon Fish Tank in the reception area, the water looks a beautiful blue and the colors of the coral reef really popped. We thank Janet and her husband for making us look so good!! Highly recommend!!

We hired Janet Kahoe to photograph our daughter's wedding celebration dinner last spring at the Hotel Monaco.
